UFO – “Holding Area”

 

One of the most eventful Semester Beginnings Ever!

It already feels like ages since we had to say goodbye to our beloved semester holiday. But in fact it has only been 8 weeks where we had to repack our dusty school books. Fortunately, there were not only new courses and study material waiting for us. Thanks to the FWO event team there were also plenty of opportunities to compensate for the learning stress and make new contacts!

In fact, there were already two pub tours and two student parties – beers remained uncounted. Another special event was the opening party of the new “holding area” called UFO on 29^th September. The UFO is highly appreciated and already seems to be a part of the student’s daily life. To get the first semester school books – or complete the current arsenal – students could make use of the used book sale, which took place in the FH-building at von-Roll-Strasse during the second week of the fall semester. Moreover you couldn’t miss the annual FH-fest in Brugg on the 8^th of October to also meet students from other campuses. Halloween finally reached FWO and the party on the 30^th of October is worth mentioning as the last successful event. So you see that FWO is very engaged to arrange a varied program to support student’s interaction and create a pleasant atmosphere.
